Best tasting THC seltzer? What the labels say

Taste is personal, and we haven't run a blind tasting, so we won't crown a "best tasting" can. What we can do is tell you what each brand's label and ingredient list say, so you can pick the style you like:

• Real fruit, lightly flavored: Wyld uses a real-fruit sparkling water base. Blackberry Lemon lists blackberry and lemon juice concentrates on its ingredient list.
• Citrus and fruit, lightly sweet: Willie's & Soda describes Original Tropical Citrus as lemon, lime and passionfruit, and Black Cherry Lime as black cherry and lime, "lightly sweet, finished with soda water."
• Sweet-tart and bright: Torch describes Blue Razz Lemonade as "sweet-tart and bright" and sweetened with sucralose, and Raspberry Lemonade as "fruity, tart, and citrusy." Eight of the nine Torch flavor pages list the can as sugar-free.
• Plain and simple: Sherpa lists just three ingredients: sparkling water, natural flavor and hemp-derived Delta-9 THC.

Best THC seltzers: our picks, and why

1. Wyld 10mg sparkling waters: best overall value

For a standard 10mg can, Wyld is the lowest price we have at $5.99 a can, about $0.60 per milligram. Choose Blackberry Lemon or Raspberry Lime (COA) for 10mg of THC alone. For an even split, there's Mango (COA) at 10mg THC and 10mg CBD, or Strawberry Guava at 10mg THC and 10mg CBC. The Blackberry Lemon page notes it is made in a facility that also uses tree nuts (coconut).

2. Wyld 2mg CBD:THC: best low-dose seltzer

White Peach and Clementine (COA) have 2mg of THC and 20mg of CBD per can, the least THC of any seltzer we sell. They're also $5.99 a can. If you're new to THC, start here.

3. Willie's & Soda 10mg: best for flavor detail

Willie's & Soda costs a dollar more than Wyld at $7.00 a can. Each 12oz can has 10mg THC, 2mg CBD, 2mg CBG and 200mg L-theanine, and the label lists 0% alcohol and calls it vegan, gluten-free and keto-friendly. There are three flavors: Original Tropical Citrus (COA), Black Cherry Lime and Strawberry Watermelon (COA). Strawberry Watermelon's ingredient list includes cane sugar, apple juice concentrate and monk fruit juice concentrate.

4. Torch 60mg High Potency: most THC per dollar

Torch's High Potency seltzers have 60mg of Delta-9 THC per can for $6.99, about $0.12 per milligram, the lowest per-mg price of any seltzer we sell. They come in nine flavors: Black Cherry, Blue Razz Lemonade, Cherry Limeade, Melon Madness, Pineapple Twist, Raspberry Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Tropical Mango and Watermelon Squeeze. 5. Sherpa 50mg and 100mg: shortest ingredient list

Sherpa's seltzers are made in San Antonio, Texas, with three ingredients. The 50mg cans are $8.00, and the 100mg cans (COA) are $13.00. Both come in Blood Orange, Classic Lemonade, Passionfruit Mango and Watermelon. Like Torch, they're high-potency cans, so check the milligrams and servings on the label before you pour.

Cheaper per milligram doesn't mean better for you. It usually means a stronger can.

THC seltzer vs. hard seltzer vs. THC soda

Start low, go slow

• Start with a low-dose can, such as a 2mg Wyld, or half of a 10mg can.
• Wait before opening another. THC you drink can take a while to kick in.
• High-potency cans aren't single servings for most people. Check the label before you drink a 50mg, 60mg or 100mg can.
• Don't mix THC with alcohol, and never drive after drinking THC.

Federal hemp rules are changing

A federal law passed in November 2025 rewrites the definition of hemp. Under a later law signed on September 2, 2026, the ban on hemp products made with cannabinoids the plant can't produce naturally takes effect November 12, 2026. A new total-THC standard and a cap of 0.4mg total THC per container for finished hemp products take effect December 11, 2026.
